Story guidelines

Before you write, a few principles to keep this archive honest and dignified:

Three ways to honor a name. Pick the one that fits the depth of the story you want to leave behind — you can change it on any step before you submit.

Free Memorial — here's how it works:
Fill in the name of the person you're honoring, their years of life, and write their story in the field below. Aim for 200–1,500 words — enough to capture who they were, what they meant, and what they left behind. You may upload one portrait photo. Once submitted, your memorial goes to our editorial team for review. After approval it will be published to the public archive, permanently.
